10,000,000 Democrats
What if millions of democrats ascended upon Washington and shut it down with just their overwhelming presence and refused to leave until the President and his cabinet was arrested and charged with the war crimes he's guilty of ?

Don't mind me, just my imagination wondering overtime.. hehe :)

I'm sure it's nice fantasy, but I do not see it happening any time soon due to armed guards with AK-47s.

2. or . . . as an alternative . . .
what if 10 million Democrats (and Independents) contributed an average of $10/year to the Democratic Party, on condition that the party reject all corporate and institutional contributions? . . . then maybe they can start representing us, the people . . .

3. Trust some of those jerks to represent us?
No thanks. If they're more concerned about whoever is giving them money, they don't deserve to be a leader. I want somebody who does stuff because it is right.

*in the most BASIC form* the "will of the people" will get my (and many many others) financial support.

It's just not 'out there'. Democratic (or other) influence in Washington right now is just about as powerful/successful as the proposed "embassy" in Baghdad will be.....lotsa money and then *KA-BOOM* at 90% completion.

on edit: of course, I'm just guessing at this (hello agent Mike :hi: )

7. But what would the mainstream think? I don't like protests...
we should stick to working elections. Civil disobedience is too radical. I have to be at work in time on Monday blah blah blah. People always have excuses for doing less that what will accomplish something.
