Ted asked interesting questions and didn't waste time on Sludge. Wes was in his foreign policy element.

7. Bringing up missle defense is the best! |
|
I _love_ the fact that wes is constantly bringing up these important, obvious points that no one talk about: That the repugs blew it big time with this missle defense fantasy while ignoring the imminent threat. If only the american public realized this...

6. I was not all that impressed, though I was hoping I would be |
|
I do like Clark, because I am not all that impressed with the economic-liberal credentials of the other 4 major candidates. I am hoping Clark might turn out to be economically liberal (read "raise taxes on the rich"). Also, from a selfish point of view, as a cold war veteran, I have healthcare from the VA, and Clark has said vet healthcare is big part of his platform.
Clark was a little bit stiff and unpolished compared to Kerry and Edwards. I am hoping he will get better. If he does not, and real soon, he will lose. How much money does he have?

He shut Koppel down several times when Koppel tried to defend Bush's speech. Koppel said that Bush didn't attempt to connect Iraq with the attack 9/11 but Clark shut him down with, "OH YES HE DID" and then Clark elaborated on just how the President had done that.

9. I thought Clark did a better |
|
with Ted than Kerry did with Peter Jennings, but I'll cut him some slack because it was due mostly to lack of sleep. He's still my #2 guy ;)
