Boxer featured on CNN
Nice story this morning about how Boxer is taking on Bushit single-handedly. They played some Rice hearing clips, and one of Boxer saying "I am sure Andy Card wished I would just go away, but I'm not going anywhere!" They say that many of her colleagues are secretly saying "You go, girl!" She can do it because she just won re-election with a 2 million vote margin.

IMHO, the rest of the party are wimps and are miscalculating the best way to win their next election.

2. I live in Illinois and Barbara Boxer is my Senator
Seeing as how neither of the "Democratic" Senators from my state had the balls to speak for me.

3. I have to agree with you.
Do those other idiots think she won by that 2 million vote margin because she is just another pretty face? Is it beyond their ability to comprehend that maybe she won by that margin because she has demonstrated in the past that she is willing to stand up for her constituents and our nation?

What a bunch of chicken shit morans! With the exception of a few (kerry, conyers, tubbs-jackson) the rest of the dems in congress need to find their damned back bones.

5. I agree - they should all oppose her
If they don't stand up and say what she did was wrong, how are Americans ever going to figure out something really bad is going on???

8. Firm opposition to Bush plays well
with the majority, who voted against Bushit. Boxer is slyly building her base for a presidential bid, and she has it exactly right. The one thing voters can't stand is wishy-washy leaders. If we are going to elect a Dem, (s)he must be clear and strong in opposition to evil.

9. Who gives a damn about how it plays?
Worrying about how things "play" has gotten us nowhere in the last 12 years.

10. Californias are NO different than you!
I have had the distinct honor to vote for Barbara Boxer for years. I am very proud to say she is my Senator, I hasten to add, I am disgusted with Feinstein. I will be looking for a good alternative to her, she just announced she will not be retiring...
Back to the point, we are ALL in this together. We must realize that would plays:shrug: in Ca is no different than anywhere else.
We cannot, must not lose sight of the facts... we need to fight the fight, together.

11. I Love Barbara Boxer!
Is it me, or is she getting herself some serious political capital, gaining more and more daily?

I especially like that it doesn't feel like a "media blessed" trend.

14. I live in Louisiana
Barbara Boxer is my Senator. I doubt very much that Mary Landrieu will speak up against this nomination. I would love to be surprised.
