Since Gonzales has justified "water boarding" in his legal briefs, |
|
how about if the Dems in the Senate "water board" him while asking their questions?
Or would that be considered torture? Just asking.

1. They can do it in the House, but not the Senate |
|
The new ethics rules that the repugs pushed through the House say that either party can vetoe any charge of an ethics violation.
If the House Dems wanted to "water board" Gonzaeles, I see no way they could be prosecuted or censured for it.
Hey, any chance Thrush Limbaugh could be there that day for some "fraternity pranks"?

2. Why don't we just call him "Grand Inquisitor" |

This is how you tell a terrorist from a normal human being. 1. All suspects are to be considered guilty and should be tortured into admitting their sins. 2. If they refuse to admit their sins under torture, they are a stubborn terrorist, and should be given the death penalty. 3. If they are tortured to death, or otherwise killed, and it is later proven that they are innocent, don't worry about it. They died a good martyr and will be in heaven.

I am against all torture. Torture is not useful it only serves to teach others torture. In his case I think it would be OK.
