How telling that one of my friends, a wise and progressive woman, was literally AFRAID to sign the petition. She wrote me, "Thanks for forwarding this, but I am uncomfortable sending my name to ANY group, so I'll pass on this even though I thoroughly support her." We live in dangerous times.
