Feinstein will oppose Gonzalez!
I just talked to an aide at Feinstein's office. While I'm disappointed that he said she will be voting for Condoleezza Rice, I am delighted to hear that she informed her aide last night that she will be opposing Gonzalez!!!

I told him that Democrats need to stand together on these bad nominees, because it doesn't do any good if only a couple of them vote no. I then informed him that I'd be sharing this good news with about 60,000 friends at DU. ;-)

1. I feel it more important to oppose Gonzalez than Rice because...
Alberto will endorse torture outright.

2. Gonzalez will receive much more opposition than Rice
If Feinstein is opposing him that is a good indication and I think Joe Biden also indicated he would oppose him as well.

3. A 'no' vote on Gonzales won't hurt her hubby's war contract
She is a worthless waste of carbon.

8. I'm still a bit rattled that she sponsored Rice, but I won't --
-- discourage her from voting against Godzilla.

Dianne Feinstein needs to be visited, Dickens-style, by the ghost of Robert La Follette.

How do we see that that happens?
