To The Honorable Senator Dick Durbin,
It is with great pleasure that I write to you today to congratulate you on standing for the courage of your convictions by voting no to confirm Condaleeza Rice as Secretary of State.
Today, you have made me proud to be an Illinois Democrat. I honestly hope you will continue the fight by voting no on the confirmation of Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General.
Thank you from a Democrat who has nearly lost all hope for the future. When good Democrats continue the fight, it restores some hope in my heart.
