I have one thing in common with RWers, I now loath Hillary Clinton |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-26-05 03:44 PM by Melodybe
Her election reform bill was trash, she refused to vote against the conformation of Bush, Rice, and will more than likely vote a big ole YAY for Gonzales. She is fine with the new freedom commission and the presidential yatch. Screw her, she doesn't give a shit about us and as soon as people get that we'll all be much better off.
She is a traitor and if she runs for president she'll never get my vote.
We have to understand that our party has been bought and sold just as much as the repubs. Once we get that through our thick sculls we'll all be better off.
From here on out all politicians are p.o.s. It will be a whole lot easier to convince the fundies I know politicians are not out for us they are out for themselves and big business, then trying to convince them one party is better than another.
With noteable exceptions of the 13 no's today and special shouts out for the CBC, Dean, Kucinich, and Boxer.
To hell with the rest, they don't care about the truth or us.

|
See now you feel better?
Taht said there was historic fraud but... Though shall not attack a fellow Republican is very much a reason for Repuke success... just that people cannot get that in their heads
That said, Hillary is a bad candidate and it has all to do with how easy the media will paint her as left of Stalin... never mind that she is left of Bush but center right truly

12. Reagan's eleventh commandment isn't the reason they win |
|
The fact that they vote in lockstep is the reason they win.
Until Democrats start doing the same on each and every vote, we will consistently lose. Unfortunately, political ambitions trump doing the right thing for Democrats.

Seems like the centrist leadership puts more effort and energy into marginalizing and attacking the party's activist base than in supporting a united front against the Republicans. In fact, they are more likely to accomodate the Right;s agenda.

Because they have the Stepford formula, if you paid close attention you would see that they not only eat the ones who don't tow the party line, they like to use them for fertilizer.
As for the election being stolen, who knows what happened? Maybe it was on the up and up, but that would indicate that 59 million Americans think that being incompetent is a good thing.

they're unethical and corrupt, and they tilt the playfield to their advanatage because they can't stand the thought of a fair fight.

Take a good look at the vote count on the Rice confirmation. Not one Republican voted against her. They take a hard line and they don't stray from it. The Democrats are a party in name only. When it comes time to vote they fracture every time.

Dems had NOTHING TO LOSE by standing in lockstep against confirming Ohio and Rice. They could have created a media buzz, actually accomplished something.

What is treason? If you fail to uphold the US Constitution after swearing allegiance to it, is that treason?
If you support the state establishment of religion, is that treason?
Is sending the military to fight a war based on lies treason?
If you advocate the deaths of "Liberals" because they demand the rights guaranteed by the US Constitution, is that treason?
What is the meaning of this elusive word?
Anybody????

Attack the Republicans.
Support the Democrats who do what you believe is the right thing.
Ignore the Democrats who do not (ignore as in, don't support, don't volunteer, don't contribute, don't defend).
At least, that's my take on it.

DU needs a "Venting room" where people can go to release their pent-up anger and frustration.
The fact is, Clinton is going to be there for a while and we need to work with her to accomplish everything we can. There are very few starry-eyed idealists left standing, and we have to use everything we can to save this country.

I've had enough of intelligent people who behave in ways that make absolutely no sense. Rice lied, Rice is incompetent, Rice gets people killed and endangers all of us (the whole country).

My best friend's husband is about to be shipped out to fight in this war, Rice is a lying piece of shit, and people are dying because of her lack of morality.
Our congressional democrats are hurting me more the the repubs ever could.
I don't expect anything from republicans, but democrats are suppose to watching out for us, if they refuse to do that then they are worthless to me.
So when they start enacting the New Freedom Commission, which BTW give the government to power to drug your children without your consent tell me again not to eat my own.
When your friends are coming back fucked up or dead from Iraq tell me again to stop eating my own.
I want a new party, the one I'm in sucks.

I don't like Condi or Gonzalas, but they meet the basic criteria for their jobs, even if I don't like their ideology or the policies and war they have advocated. Neither are as terrible as Ed Meese, and Reagan appointed him when the democrats controlled both houses of congress.
What do you expect dems to do-cast a useless vote against her to look good to the left, or do the moderate thing and vote to approve, thus avoid being labelled an obstructionist at a later date?
