Let's Thank Them NOW--Our Senators
Dear Sen. :

I want to commend you for your vote of nay on the Rice nomination. She has a history of misrepresenting, misinterpreting, and misstating facts and policy. Her errors cost lives, money, and national prestige.

You said enough! and I thank you for that. First there was one (challenging the Ohio election fraud) now there are 13. At that rate, we will be a majority soon!

Thank you again sir.

Very truly yours,

autorank

11. Here's what wrote
Thank you for voting NO against Ms. Rice's confirmation as Secretary of State. Democrats must start demanding the truth from the frightening Bush administration.

People with brains and consciences in all states thank you. You are our senator too.

......thanks for saying hi
:hi:

15. Let me put it bluntly: Bullshit.
All eight dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee voted nay on Gonzales yesterday. Most of them voted for Rice. The limited thinking you demonstrate in your post, all too frequent here on DU, is freakin dangerous. One day a certain Senator is a Saint, the next day, the worst of sinners. Here's a novel idea: Examine a Senator's entire record before casting that person as the personification of the evil DINO.

18. Agree, Don
It's completely over the top. If it were just a handful of people here, I'd write it off, but it seems to be the mainstream school of thought. I'm beginning to think it's just displaced rage born out of justifiable anger at bushco, and the impotence of being the minority party.

20. I've always loved and respected Boxer....
but watch what happens at the next Iraq war supplemental bill.

Most of those 13 will vote for it and she will probably lose her status as Flavor of the Month.

well said....

17. Anyone who voted for Condi is neither our nor America's friend.
They have a chance to prove me wrong, and may have been on our side in the past, but until then I will stand by my words.

And I appreciate your blunt appraisal of my post. You are referring to my opinion. I am referring to yours.

19. I just informed you that all 8
dems on the Judiciary voted against Gonzales. IMHO, he's far more dangerous than Condi. He's posed to be the top lawmaking official in the country. They've already proven that they aren't all go along every time Dinos. So they're on our side in this one. Still standing by your words?

21. If they voted for Condi they are not our friends.
Edited on Thu Jan-27-05 07:11 AM by tngledwebb
Even if they voted against Gonzales. They may still be of use, of course, and maybe they can explain their decision in future, but I stand by my words. Why? Because Condi is one of the most overt liars in this admin, and justly deserves, as do many in this illegal regime, indictment for war crimes.
