before I left this AM I did hear Boxer say that the most votes ever against a nominee was 7 against Kissinger....13 votes certainly beat that record. I did not expect my Sens. to vote no..AZ here with McCain and Kyl, so that wasn't surprising but to have 12 Dems and 1 Independent vote NO.......Hurray for those who stood up and told this admin that credibility is an issue with many Americans.
On edit: added the 1 Independent...sorry I included Jeffords with the Dems and a big thanx to him too.

...a newscaster on KPIX (S.F.) said today that 13 was the greatest number of nay votes on a SOS Senate vote since eighteen-eighty-something. Sorry, he didn't mention any names -- perhaps a DUer with a better history ed. than I (or more time than I have tonight to Google) can confirm or deny.

8. Oh, could very well be! |

Tho' I do like the impact of "...greatest number of nays since eighteen-eighty-something..." :)
Now, all I want to hear is "* is only the third president impeached since..., and the first ever to actually be removed from office..." :D
