Republican Congress = Sheep
I am going to paint with a broad brush
here since viewing vote and vote again, despite
the facts, Republicans in Congress vote
like sheep, without individuals examining
the character, integrity and record of
statements and actions that may work
for a Republican agenda but not for the
American people and the future in a global
world. It's dishonest at best and treasonous
at worst.

Shame

1. Good point
If they were as honorable and intelligent and honest enough, you'd think that SOME Republican SOMETIME would vote against something. But they don't.
Which leads to the conclusion that they're:

a.) All in a "group think" mode, incapable or unwilling to even ask questions or take an unpopular stand on an issue.

or

b.) Being coerced to "toe the line" at great risk of peril.

So much for the "rugged individualist" theory.

2. You'd think some of these guys know they face torture
tactics in the basement of the White House
if they stray.

3. Treason is defined
in the Constitution, not on DU. Cowardly, dishonest ? Those might well be applicable.

5. That, however, is
not the definition for treason against the United States. Otherwise, a lot of people would be in jail: unfaithful spouses, back-stabbing co-workers,etc.

Still, treacherous would be a better word.
