What are the most important issues facing us today...
I am writing my very own road map and I want everyones opinion on what issues need to be address in this country.

This is my first post on this topic, more will follow, for now I am looking for a list.

This is not a question of what your opinion on these issues are, just what you feel are the issues.

One at a time tell me what you biggest issues are.

3. Restricting the powers of corporations
and insurance companies.

If that's accomplished, we will be able to create a decent healthcare system.

9. It is a start
I'm look for more inclusive concepts though. Those are all highly important, but what I'm trying to do here is set up a platform. Those are important planks, but what I need is the base structure.

10. Election Fraud
Whoever counts the votes gets to run the show.

Stolen elections have allowed right-wing extremists to take over America. Nothing will change unless elections are made verifiable and they are no longer run by the Ken Blackwells of the world.

13. Education
and I don't mean schools.
Did anyone bother to campaign in the red states? There are some with only 1 or two blue counties. Some of these people are die hard Republicans who will vote for a plow horse if it ran for office. Others, they're just influenced by their neighbors.

People voted in those states voted for Bush over Gore because of Clinton's weakness of the flesh. What did Gore have to do with it? Why should he be punished? Bush was the 'moral' candidate who discovered at age 40 that going to church might get him votes in the Bible Belt. Al Gore had actually considered going into the clergy at one time. Al Gore had never fallen away from his faith. I ask you, "Who's more moral?" No one bothered to tell anyone in the red states this.

I could go on, but I am sure most of you know plenty of stories like this. Someone needs to spread the word to the red states.

In Virginia, we need to have candidates run against incumbent republicans. They get into office and no one runs against them to get them out. Some of these guys are only getting 89% of the vote against unknown third party candidates. Imagine what would happen if there was actually a campaign.
