“The mission of the Christian Coalition is simple,”
says Pat Robertson. It is “to mobilize Christians -- one precinct at a time, one community at a time -- until once again we are the head and not the tail, and at the top rather than the bottom of our political system." Robertson predicts that "the Christian Coalition will be the most powerful political force in America by the end of this decade." And, "We have enough votes to run this country...and when the people say, 'We've had enough,' we're going to take over!”

Scary, largely because they have almost achieved their goal.

Buried in this article, which I am posting for evidence of source only >>>

1. Pat Robertson, Usurper
Sounds like Mr. Robertson is advocating the overthrow of the U.S. government?

Anyone else think the same?

2. Right, and the more they do this shit
the less Christian they become. Guess Robertson hasn't read his New Testament in a very long time, or he'd know that.

3. But what kind of Christians is he mobilizing?
Fascist Xtians is who he is mobilizing, not those who follow Jesus' non-violent message.

4. a fine example of the double standard...
what if the pagans were to 'mobilize' and proclaim they'll rule the roost by the end of the decade? Do you think people would let that one slide?

The hypocrisy is staggering.

This country belongs to all of us, not ONLY to a bunch of whacko fundies.

8. This is just a money making enterprise for them
What difference does it make how many follow whatever religion? Are they guaranteeing their way into heaven if they have more members? No it's all MONEY....
