"Iraq Elections Overwhelming Success!" |
|
That will be the headline on Monday. That is why Bu$h is smiling. The fix is in. The Bu$h regime will claim that "democracy lives," and nobody will know the difference or care. Look for a lock-down on bad news from embedded reporters over the next few days. Look for spin, spin, spin, and more hollow words. Another big lie is coming, folks. Bend over and assume the position.

2. Vote on a Constitution Dec 2005 |
|
After the election comes naming the Prime Minister and such. Then writing the Constitution. Then a vote on that in December.
He's got lots more excuses, so it'll be easy to say the elections were a success.

3. Does anyone really believe that there will be a fair election? |
|
What has this administration told you that is true before?
How in the world people let them get away with shit is beyond me.
They lied about the war and no one gives a shit or is punished. Will they tell the truth about an election?

Thank goodness that there are still a handful of non-corporate journalist out there who will only be interested in reporting the actual story. This is one place you can go to get it: http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=05/01/27/1359246

If some shill insists on giving glowing reports about the election, despite any really obvious problems (you know, bombs, stuff like that)
