MSNBC reporter: All Iraqi Officials Have FLED Baghdad
Yep.

He, reporting from Baghdad, says that all the police and all the officials have fled Baghdad. The polling places will be protected by American GIs only. (I wonder who the poll workers are??)

3. We're spreading freedom
"spreading" freedom always sounds slightly pornographic to me

2. We should look at this as an opportunity, not a negative

Maybe we can send Blackwell over there to help run the election.

6. You bet. Just think of the expertise going to waste
if Blackwell and Katherine Harris do not offer their services.

13. Harris can handle the Sunnahs and Blackwell the Shi'ites
I guess Rove will have to mesmorize the Kurds on his own.

14. You're right, it's not.
It's very, very, very sad and scary.

I think we're making light of it because there's nothing else we can do about it and laughter helps us from going crazy.

Sunday, Bloody, Sunday will have a new meaning.

I can’t believe the news today
Oh, I can’t close my eyes and make it go away
How long...
How long must we sing this song?
How long? how long...

’cause tonight...we can be as one
Tonight...

Broken bottles under children’s feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street
But I won’t heed the battle call
It puts my back up
Puts my back up against the wall

Sunday, bloody sunday
Sunday, bloody sunday
Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday bloody sunday...)
(allright lets go!)

And the battle’s just begun
There’s many lost, but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart

Sunday, bloody sunday
Sunday, bloody sunday

How long...
How long must we sing this song?
How long? how long...

’cause tonight...we can be as one
Tonight...
Tonight...

Sunday, bloody sunday (tonight)
Tonight
Sunday, bloody sunday (tonight)
(come get some!)

Wipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Wipe your tears away
I wipe your tears away
(sunday, bloody sunday)
I wipe your blood shot eyes
(sunday, bloody sunday)

Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday, bloody sunday)
Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday, bloody sunday)
(here I come!)

And it’s true we are immune
When fact is fiction and tv reality
And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die

The real battle yet begun (sunday, bloody sunday)
To claim the victory jesus won (sunday, bloody sunday)
On...

Sunday bloody sunday
Sunday bloody sunday...

12. The horror of the Iraq war ..... THE CHILDREN
Sometimes we forget what wars mean and the price we have to pay? The pictures tells a story without any words.

If this doesn't reveal the horror of war
NOTHING WILL

15. Doesn't matter, Chimpy will get his elections come hell or high water...
He could give two shits whether or not it's GIs or Iraqi police killed. When all is said and done, he'll puff himself up and say Iraq had elections regardless of how disastrous they turn out to be.

Don't forget, this is Baghdad, the capital city for heavens sake! Never can there be a better example of how Bush has failed in Iraq.
