Obama says Dayton "courageous"...

http://www.duluthsuperior.com/mld/duluthsuperior/10751122.htm

Dayton, a Minnesota Democrat, said that he's gotten positive feedback on his speech from several Democratic senators, including Barack Obama, D-Ill., who wound up voting for Rice. Dayton said that Obama called the speech "courageous," an account confirmed by Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs.

Republicans are already jumping on Dayton, who is likely to face a tough re-election challenge next year.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee put out a statement saying that "Dayton's loyalties lie with Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, and the liberal left - and the partisan politics of doom and gloom"
..................

...I hope Obama takes some inspiration from him...if Dayton can do it and he's running for re-election, Obama should be able to with 5 years before he has to deal with it...
