3. I love Paul Newman, but isn't he about 80? |
|
Maybe a bit younger, and he certainly doesn't seem his age, but still. Well, he'd liven up the debate.

8. Like other notable actors such as Gregory Peck, |
|
Paul Newman ages like a fine wine. Happy Bday and consider doing Joann a favor and cut back on DA racing ... just a little. ;)
Best acting IMHO = Cool Hand Luke ... how he fought a hopeless fight with personal dignity
Yeah, "What we got here is a FAILURE to communicate."

both total gentlemen, and both knockouts well into their lives.
I worked on an event once with Mr. Peck. The agreement was that he'd be there and say a few words -- and no signing autographs. Well don't you know, people crowded him anyway, and his response? Signed every last one, and chatted with every person in line. What a guy.

12. Lucky you - to have worked with Gregory Peck. |
|
I'll never forget his five star acting in "To Kill a Mockingbird". I know it sounds silly and sentimental but I like to watch this film at least once a year for a personal "positive attitude" (emotional) tune-up in the power of compassion and humanity.

13. Can't say I really worked "with" him - |
|
but he was gracious enough to do an event for us.
You're not alone at all on the To Kill a Mockingbird part, either. Most of the questions directed toward him that night were from people saying the movie had changed their lives.

Redford would get joe the hell out. Even if Paul stayed in for only one term, the goal would be accomplished

16. YES............ I hope it is true |
|
He is not just any actor, he has been involved in politics for a long time and he is VERY smart. His wife is an asset, he she could run herself. Maybe he will be seen as old but he is a good liberal candidate. I would do what I could to support him.

18. Hi, again, BrooklynLiberal. And you've got a good rumor -- |
|
-- for us, too.
I hope it's true. I won't miss Lieberman one bit and Newman is a class act from the word go.
Fond tidings and thanks for the uplift.
