"They just said no": Washington Times on Rice vote
I noticed that the print edition of today's Washington Times had photographs of all Democratic senators who voted against the confirmation of Condoleezza Rice. I couldn't help wondering if such a prominent placement of the photos -- above the fold, no less -- was meant to inflame readers and ensure harassment (or worse) of the senators in question.

Link is below. I'm not sure how long it is good for, however. The caption was "They just said no."

Thoughts?

2. Isn't this the paper that Tony Blankley works for?
I know this is a r/w rag and respectable for some, but he's an ass.

4. It's the Moonie Times.

Nevertheless, I think the 13 who voted against the Rice confirmation deserve recognition. They deserve to be front page news. (I suspect it was not the Washington Times's objective to glorify them.)

9. Yes, Blankley is at the WT.
I believe he is in charge of the editorial pages, which cover four pages (!). Of course, there are some of us who believe the whole paper is an op-ed piece. :-)

The Washington Times is a money-losing proposition and is propped up financially by Rev. Moon. It's the kind of paper that can manage to insult both feminists and Muslims in the same editorial (which they managed to do when Richard Grenier was alive and writing for them).

3. They (the WT) are just morons
and they don't care how much damage they do in their lust for the Rapture.

"Just saying no" is bad how? Isn't that what St Ronnie wanted us to do? stand up for your beliefs in spite of peer pressure?

idiots.

5. Of course. The Moonie Times has been a Bush Crime Family tool 25 yrs.
They aren't about to turn over a new leaf.

Tony Blankley has been all over the shows defending Maggie Gallagher because the WH paid her for promoting their marriage program. The WH marriage program is based on RevMoon's marriage program. The WH tapped Wase Horn, a frequent Moon marriage seminar speaker, to oversee the program.

Maybe it will lead to greater things.

10. It's a hit list.
They just as well have lined them against a wall. This is the Times way of letting their legions know their faces as the smear campaign begins.
