The Ugly American LTTEs

I ran across these letters in today's Lebanon Daily Star. Yikes, are these the American voices that the world gets to listen to? They are mean-spirited and DUMB, as in "morans." DU-ers need to start writing LTTEs to foreign papers so that views like these can be counteracted. The world needs to start liking the U.S. again.

I only hope that Hizbullah continues to attack Israel so that Israel will have the justification it needs to bomb Lebanon back to the Stone Age, which in reality is not far from where they are today.

I do believe Iran is behind everything that is happening in the Middle East. Unless we get rid of the mullahs, nothing will change in the region. Iran has been accused of building weapons of mass destruction, supporting terrorism, denying its citizens basic human rights, and the list goes on and on. When will we do anything about this?

1. Unbelievable comments

What about the comment that "Iran is behind everything in the Middle East". What sort of bulldust is this? If he's talking about fighting, killing and terrorism, then America is behind it. But why do they even publish their ravings?

2. Actually, in the book "The Ugly American," the main

character was a physically ugly American who really got to know the people of the Asian country where he was sent to work by the U.S. govt. He was ugly but he was a good guy, and the title referred to him. The book also showed a lot of examples of morans abroad and they're what people think of when they hear the phrase "ugly American."

It's strange, but I suppose no one reads the book these days. It's probably out of print. If you can find it, however, read it. ;-)

6. How do you know who really wrote these things?

Otto Reich (a former Iran-Contra crook now back in government) was guilty of planting letters in publications to support one of G.HW Bush's many organized crime sprees back in the shitty 80s.

These letters could be planted by someone similar to ole Otto.

I really doubt some mouthbreathing republican reads anything other than the scrolls at the bottom of Fox News. Reading the Lebanon Daily Star doesn't sound typical of these idiots.
