that they don't deserve." -George W. Bush, January 27, 2005, in an interview yesterday with the New York Times and other media.
You can't make this stuff up! Priceless!

"Certain activities", including paying off media shills to peddle propaganda for him; enlisting the help of lawless (read: GOP)politicians and judges to prop him up; enlisting the help of Repuke-friendly voting machine companies to rig elections so he and his loyalist can win all the time; etc.

* has violated the founding principles of this nation with his support of torture and his conduct of his war in Iraq. Look at these passages from the Declaration of Independence and tell me what you think of when you read them: *******************************
For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us;
For protecting them, by a mock trial, from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states;
For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world;
...
For depriving us, in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury;
For transporting us beyond seas, to be tried for pretended offenses;
For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries, so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these colonies;
For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments;
For suspending our own legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
...
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burned our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation, and tyranny already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation. ********************************
I don't know about you, but I get the chills.

4. Chilling, tho Bush & his true believers are blind to the failures in Iraq. |
|
They cannot see the obvious that it is gravely immoral to take a nation to war on lies, using the utter tragedy of 9-11 to do it, and that this immoral and unnecessary war has made our nation less safe.
They are dug in now, and heaven help us all.

5. "...just so long as I'm the dictator." |

At least with the new "t" word, Democrats can't be called "tyrants" by frothy-mouthed Cons. ok maybe they can, but it doesn't sound as menacing as "traitor" or "terrorist".
