There must be tremendous in-fighting going on about this within the Democratic Party.

I think it should be Boxer.

Or maybe Bayh - precisely because he "appears" moderate -- if he comes out swinging against Bush, it would be that much more powerful. The RW cranks wouldn't be able to marginalize him by saying, "Oh, he's a California liberal" (like they do with my hero Barb).

Please God, don't let them pick Kennedy.
