Jim Wallis - author of "God's Politics" on AAR now. |

Wallis has been making the round of talk shows the last couple of weeks, The Daily Show, etc. talking about the repugs neocons aren't promoting his idea of religion. I'm not a big fan of any organized religion but this guy makes a lot of sense. To me he is the spokeman for sane and reasonable religion.
Would love to see this guy debate Dobson, Falwell or any other faux "messenger from god" pundit the GOP puts out today.
edit for correction of book name - sorry

2. I saw him in an exchange with Falwell once, and |
|
Falwell ended up calling the Rev. Wallis names and attacking him as to the legitimacy of his faith rather than discussing differences in doctrine. Falwell also pontificated on the saintliness of * and the favor which God bestows upon this administration. It was sickening.
