Bush admits love triangle -- Laura, Condi, George
Well, that's a tabloid-style headline version of his statement today. And here's the headline from The Washington Post's "White House Briefing":

A Love Fest

Here's Bush at today's swearing-in of Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state:

"Laura and I are honored to be here. Over the past four years, America has benefited from the wise counsel of Dr. Condoleezza Rice and our family has been enriched by our friendship with this remarkable person. We love her -- I don't know if you're supposed to say that about the Secretary of State.

1. Which America has benefitted from her "wise counsel?"
Because it certainly hasn't benefitted North America - unless you stretch it and say that, by ignoring facts and getting thousands of people killed, you've helped the environment or something.

2. Laura has benefitted much now that GW's Sally Hemmings has
taken the pressure off her.

3. "America has benefited from the wise counsel of Dr. Condoleezza Rice"
Really? Do you think all the families of the 9-11 victims can say that?
