Bill Schneider of CNN is a BushCo. Shill !
I have never heard him give anything but fawning reports in regard to Shrub and today I heard his totally BS report on Condi's confirmation hearings. He lauds her throughout his report and only plays her response to Boxer about not "impugning" her character. He never even mentions why Boxer was questioning her in the first place. Do not let anyone ever get away with claiming CNN is a liberal counter weight to Fox.

7. You just noticed? Ole Bill would be a wondeful shill for the Chinese
He wouldn't have to change a thing, except for the Masters he serves so ably and the information he distorts.

Not one thing, well, maybe his basic economic philosophy but I wonder, the Communist Chinese probably have at least as great a wealth disparity as Imperial Amerika or it's other counterparts in the Unfree World and Third World. Chinese Communist Party Members, like Amerikan Imperial Party members get immunity from most criminal investigations, unless they trnasgress against members of The Party.

Chinese Communists can say whatever they want, however half truthful or simply lying, and all the power of a Totalitarian State will rush in to their aid if someone dares speak above a whisper in challenge.

Just like Imperial Amerika.

Yep, Bill would make a wonderful bootlicker for the Chinese Communists as he does for the Amerikan Imperial Family and their interetsts.

And you just noticed this?

11. No, I have felt this way about Schneider for years.
I felt compelled to post today because of Schneider's "political play of the week" piece on CNN.

The levels of bias, deception, propaganda and misdirection currently being shoveled by the corporate, especially cable, news organizations is astounding.

12. You should probably stop watching. You'll feel better
Besides, you'll hear most of it at DU, anyway, so you'll still know what they are saying to teh Imperial Subjects.

8. Schneider's bio (links to Condi)
On his American Enterprise Institute Bio page it lists:
Fred and Rita Richman Visiting Professor, Brandeis University, 2002
Senior political analyst, CNN, 1991-present
Contributing editor, Atlantic Monthly, 1988-present
Contributing editor, National Journal, 1987-present
Contributing editor, The Los Angeles Times, 1982-present
Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Visiting Professor of American Politics, Boston College, 1990-1995
International affairs fellow, Council on Foreign Relations, 1979-1980
Senior research fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University, 1977-1979
Associate professor of government, Harvard University, 1972-1979

http://www.aei.org/scholars/scholarID.53,filter./scholar.asp

Schneider is identified as a "Resident Scholar" at AEI.

NOTE: Condi also has connections to the Hoover Institution and she was on the Council of Foreign Relations.

Hmmm, where's the impartial media when you need them. Bill just gave his old friend Condi his personal kudos on CNN. Go Team!

15. What's his American Enterprise Institute (AEI) salary? That's the answer.
I'm fascinated with the pundit/reporter payola scandal and the CM (corporate media). Many know about the interlocking nature of the White House and ideological think tanks. Essentially, any commentator on the payroll at a think tank is being paid by the think take because of his views. Hence, when he/she expresses those views on television or in print, they are paid to do so.

On a larger scale, I wonder if there is some little matrix account or individual out there who is the no-bull-shit paymaster and if there are very significant direct payments to supremes and legislators for their work; not contributions or trips but big bucks. Who knows?

14. Thanks for posting that
I read the text on CNN.com and shot them an e-mail complaining about his piece. I asked them to hire some political analysts who don't spout trite blather while ignoring all the important issues. He really needs to retire.

16. At some point you will tire of watching CNN at all and be happier for it
When one has to question the credentials of all supposedly neutral commentators, it gets old fast.
