NOMINATION OF CONDOLEEZZA RICE TO BE SECRETARY OF STATE -- (Senate - January 25, 2005), pp S389-390.

"Mr. President, I have listened to some of the debate on this nomination. It is unfortunate that we have lost focus about what we should be doing in the confirmation of the Secretary of State. I don't think rehashing potential mistakes some think may have been made in the war on terrorism, specifically in Iraq, is something that should be brought up as a reason to vote against Condoleezza Rice for Secretary of State."

*'s national security advisor and a chief architect for the failed Iraq plan should not be held responsibile or accountable, and, further, it should not even be discussed.

What a maroon!!!!

7. "That was a historical document"
not a warning....who could imagine they would use planes as bombs.

Rice is a part of the problem.......she didn't do her first job. She should have been the one told to leave.

I HATE YOU! I hate that Texas has 2 f***ing Republican senators....

Let me settle the score....

The two main arguments that were presented to Congress as reasons to rage the war in Iraq were....
The Presence of WMDs in Iraq and The involvement of Saddam Hussein in the 9/11 attacks"

The President said to Barbara Walters "I felt like we'd find weapons of mass destruction — like many here in the United States, many around the world. The United Nations thought he had weapons of mass destruction," Bush told Walters. "So, therefore: one, we need to find out what went wrong in the intelligence gathering. … Saddam was dangerous and the world is safer without him in power."

what wrong in the intelligence gathering... so we raged a war based on information that ultimately was proven to be wrong intelligence information????

Can they get it through their skulls???

Incorrect intelligence information was used to promote and ultimately start a war that is costing us thousands of lives and billions of dollars!!!!

We can not jsut sit by and take that excuse... casue we know he either concocted the truth or cherry picked it... disregarding several reports to the contrary....

So an answer to my Senator: This was gross negligence by the National Security Advisor.... there is no "potential" about thism, cause we have already lost lives and billions of dollars its not future problems its past and present.
