Dear Friend,

Eliot has been invited to speak to the members of the National Press Club this coming Monday, January 31st. The National Press Club is a forum for newsmakers to share their perspective and point of view with the national press. It is anticipated that he will offer his thoughts and perspective on a number of topics, ranging from his work on behalf of investors to clean up the financial markets to his race for Governor of New York.

The Washington D.C. event is nearing a sell-out. However, for those of you here in New York, and around the country interested in Eliot's remarks, he will appear live on the C-SPAN3 cable network and Minnesota Public Radio at 1:00 pm EST Monday afternoon.

To watch a streaming media presentation on the Internet visit www.cspan.org or check your local cable network listings for the C-SPAN 3 channel in your area. Click here to listen live to Eliot's address to the members of the National Press Club on Minnesota Public Radio.

Among the New York-based radio stations scheduled to broadcast the speech are:

WSKG (89.3 FM)- Binghamton - Tues., February 1 at 1 p.m. (repeated at 7 p.m.)

(91.1 FM) - Corning

(88.7 FM) - Hornell

(90.9 FM) - Ithaca

(91.7 FM) - Oneonta

WNED (89.3 FM) - Buffalo - Wed., Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. (repeated Feb. 3 at 1 p.m.)

970 AM

WAMC (90.3 FM) - Albany - Wed., Feb. 9 at 1 p.m.

Cindy Darrison
Managing Director
Spitzer 2006

P.S. The Discussion Groups and Message Board related to specific issues are now up and running at www.sptizer2006.com . Eliot, and all of us here at the campaign are interested in hearing from you with your comments about his speech and the important issues facing New York State.

2. This guy is a star in the making. His message is clear,
inspirational, strong and puts the Democrats in a strong moral position (especially considering his crusading against liars, thieves and other crooks). He talks the way a Democrat should talk!

3. He would have made an outstanding Attorney General
*sigh*

But I will work for his run to be my Governor, that's for sure!
