With all due respect to those sending flowers to Barbara Boxer
if you have to choose how to spend that $10 SEND HER the MONEY!
(and maybe a note about her advocating for paper ballots) She's going to be facing a GIANT ASSAULT from the repug machine. She's shown us how to battle now she needs us to send her a HUGE WAR CHEST.

I'd suggest leaving V day to her husband. You're right. It's time for campaign donations.

6. You're absolutely right. They are already calling her crazy.
It's typical RW demonization. All the talking heads are labeling her a far left radical liberal, crazy and wacko. They are going as far as calling her unAmerican. Ted Kennedy is taking a lot of heat too for his comments regarding withdrawing from Iraq. This is the pattern the RW media has used to slander and demean any Democrat who stands up for our beliefs and principles.

The O'reilly, Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity, Bohannon, Boortz, FOX News, etc Kool-aid drinkers are fed a daily diet of this crap. They are so brainwashed they wouldn't know the truth if it kicked them in the ass.

In the meantime, while the talking heads keep the sheep in the herd, the Bush administration can stay above the fray and not get their hand dirty.

7. They ridiculed her on SNL and that's just the beginning
We need to show that SHE WAS RIGHT and has millions watching her back. Thank goodness for the few like Ms Carlson

LA TIMES: January 27, 2005
Margaret Carlson: Boxer's Spine Gets Her Cut Off at the Knees

You wouldn't know it from reading the newspapers, but Sen. Barbara Boxer served her country valiantly last week. In her grilling of Secretary of State-designate Condoleezza Rice, Boxer finally named the elephant in the hearing room, which is more than the war itself. It's the lies that got us there.

12. I'm all for campaign finance laws that will sop up the corporate
trough but until then it's nice to think the grassroots can keep our own afloat. And if you don't think money counts you're living in a dream world. Money = Message in Amerika And BTW you ignored my suggestion that she pursue voting reform or is that a dead issue too?
