We just got the call.
Jesse (Brother In Law) is getting called back to Iraq. He's in the Air Force. Didn't know what to say to Ma, she's a Rapture Christian and doesn't quite like Bush, but voted because of Bush's gay and abortion agenda. I know she is very upset, but believes the Rapture is coming within her lifetime. The whole thing is sad. Josh, my wifes other Brother is probably going back too. (Marines 2nd division).

4. Never. Either Brother would never do that.
However I do know Josh came back last year kinda traumatized and quiet. He is better now I think.

15. That is to bad.
Hopefully they don't kill any civilians although odds are they will. Hopefully they come home safe. Odds are they won't. But if they are not willing to stand up and do the right thing (Prison/Europe) than there is nothing that can be done for them.

9. What a shame
What a goddamned shame. Ripoff. Theft of people's lives, in so many ways.

Goddamn them all to hell, those fucking squatters in the White House. Goddamn them forever.

10. Tell
them to run away. This war not worth it. Why die for it, why lose an arm or leg for it. Would they take care of you if you get wounded.

RUN AWAY RUN AWAY

12. Sounds like the complete shits. Maybe it's time to restart the
Underground Railroad, this time for runaway military slaves.

Look to the north, my friends.

17. any chance you can change their minds?
is there any way you can talk to them--talk them out of it?

my main question here is: do they want to go back?
they've been there, know what the situation is. how do they feel about it?

if they don't want to return then i would suggest you try to step in and talk to them about why you think they shouldn't go. and keep talking!

one of my daughter's friends had her 18 year old boyfriend visiting awhile back. he was from rural Georgia, couldn't find a job and wanted to join the army. i had about a day and a half to work on this. we all went to lunch, to dinner, and we watched Fahrenheit 9/11. by the time he left he told me he wasn't going to join the army. it took about two or three months after this boy returned home for him to negate all i had said--i am told he is planning to join the army again.

if you could talk to your two brothers-in-law...and keep talking...it might have an effect.

if they want to go back there you might try talking it over with them but if their minds are made up...well, that's a hard row for you to hoe. if they're open to suggestions then start in on it. you could make talking them out of it your new hobby/obsession. and too bad if you piss your mother-in-law off (just tell her you don't want the blood of her two dead sons on your conscience).
