My cousin must not know me AT ALL
He just said: "Do you listen to Michael Savage? He's an independent. You'd like him."

What the FUCK makes him think I'd LIKE that racist, homophobe? We used to be so close when we were kids and I hardly even know him now. He was telling me how he was getting a bunch of money back in taxes this year because Bush is taking care of him. "practically paid me to have more kids" he says. "But don't worry, you guys will have Hillary running for you in 4 years."

That may be the last conversation we ever have outside of family gatherings. It's actually really sad because I do love him.

1. Bush paid him to have more kids?
If he ever says that to you, ask him what makes him different from a black welfare queen in the 1970s. Ask him why YOUR taxes are going to support HIS dick. He listens to Savage, so he shouldn't be offended at the language.

If you love him, then he's probably capable of thinking, if only someone starts expecting him to.

Or you can walk away, like my extended family has done to my two right wing nutcase cousins. They're not even invited to family gatherings any more, just the occasional funeral.

2. Your cousin thinks Savage is an Independent?
Seriously...why? Where in all that's good and decent did he come up with that? Has he heard Savage?

I can see where some righties might be confused with Indies, but Savage sure as hell never could.

Sorry for your cousin's inability to dissertain "Independent" from butchery.

3. Did it occur to him that kids cost more than the $20.00 tax cut he
probably got? God, these people are stupid!

4. Reply: If ever there was proof of media bias
it would be that someone would listen to Savage and compared to other media consider Savage to be "an Independent."

5. Don't feel bad
you're not the only one with cousins who drink coolaid. One of my cousins is a member of the sons of the Confederacy. When I told him our family was related to Harriet Beecher Stowe, he didn't want to believe me.

my grandmother was at a family party back in the early days and remebered him getting the kids into a bunch in the yard and lassoing them all. she would be about 110 if she had lived and she was in her 20's when this happened.

7. Typical MePublican.
Greedy and self serving with no regard to the suffering of others. To bad that bush** isn't taking care of millions in this Country. Too bad bush** doesn't care about your cousin's kids' future, they will have to pay for their parents' tax cuts. Too bad bush** isn't taking care of the environment so that your cousin's kids will have clean air to breath and fresh water to drink and forests to look at and on and on and on.

9. Ask him if it's moral to leave his kids or anyone else's

the largest deficit this country has ever seen so that he can have his tax cut?

No politics, religon or money talk. It works very well, because I probably DON't want to know what they really think.
