Congratulations on finally being able to vote, and I hope you relish that right as too many here do not.

Those who do vote, I admire your courage. You are going out to vote. You are taking your first steps towards true freedom.

To our troops, I thank you for protecting these people and yourselves. Thank you for keeping the carnage of today much less than it could have been. Keep safe. Hopefully, you will return very soon.

And to those who did not vote, I say I understand. Our lack of voting comes from apathy, yours from fear. But I warn you, do not let fear rule your life and control your freedom, as too many Americans already have made this mistake, and everyone is paying for it. You are a strong noble people. Be strong, and vote so that your voices may be heard.

But with this praise comes a caveat. Do not be foolish, and do not mix religion and politics. This is a deadly molotov cocktail that will consume your government if you are not careful as it already is engulfing ours.

And to Bush I say: I hope you are satisfied. I hope you feel that the thousands who have died in your hOILy war, the many more who will die because you ignored America's real threats, the many who will die because of no access to health care, and those who will die because of anti-American violence around the globe are worth your barrels of oil. I hope you choke on them, you crude perverted bastard.

And to the Iraqis, I say good luck. You're gonna need it.

1. What methods will they use to actually count the ballots?
A lot of names and somewhat large ballot isn't it?
Can't imagine them going through any kind of
tallying machine...hand counted each one? Margins
of human error and just plain fraud?
