Media is in full pro-Bush mode |
|
Edited on Mon Jan-31-05 07:55 AM by quinnox
I have been scanning the channels and it is all the same story, Bush's "resounding success" is the storyline and anyone who doesn't rejoice in it is a traitor. Nevermind the billions of dollars and thousands of lives lost, nevermind the lies that were told to bring USA into starting this war, nevermind that this is one moment in an unending horror story out of Iraq, like the GOP callers have been calling in to CSPAN with their talking point "It doesn't matter why we went into Iraq anymore! Look at all the smiling faces!"
This is disgusting.

1. 80% turnout a "resounding success" for Vietnam elections in 1967 |
|
bush is a f*ck-up; always has been, always wil be. Let him/them crow. Like the US crowed about the elections in Vietnam. Before the Tet; before the chopper-lifts in Saigon.
"WMD threat" becomes "elections" for a temporary interim government.
Yes, what a "resounding success". For stupidity.

There is no way this is going to be a success. This was a pointless invasion. I don't care how many lies the MSM promote to prop up the Chimp King.

7. Yeah, those planted callers on C-SPAN were a tad obvious |
|
But figure it this way: there has to be some fig leaf of a reason to withdraw troops from Iraq. Unfortunately, they'll only be withdrawn to be sent to Iran. When Iraq falls into even more confusion, it will be because "they couldn't handle democracy."

Or quatre if you count the "leaving Iraq to self-govern". Anyone remembers all these other "victories"? The many times Saddam, WMD were found? jessica Lynch?

Last night's cable news shows couldn't be more pro bush if it was scripted in hollywood! You saw Iraqi after Iraqi dancing in the street, whooping it up and thanking George Bush. Today, one of the leaders in bagdad wants to put up a statue of president Bush. I hope the Michael jackson case puts an end to this cheerleading for Bush saga!

been a total sell out to the Republican agenda. That's it. There's no use in spending one second listening or reading their illegal and vicious swill. It's not good for you.
