1. Oh yes, of course...and I will also get 2 root canals
and take a hammer and pound my hand with it, and bash my head into the wall

In all seriousness...SOTU remind me of the Communist Party yearly meetings, when the General Secretary of the CPSU would talk BS, and every 10 minutes he would get interrupted with thunderous applause

12. I totally agree with you.
My first reaction when I heard the SOTU was Wednesday night was, "Oh, darn, West Wing won't be on." Whenenver I see Jeb Bartlett I yearn for the good old days and wish Martin Sheen would run for president. I watched "An American President" the other day and that made me feel the same way.

21. Hah, I know.
The West Wing is a great escapist fantasy for liberals and Democrats. It's been helping me keep my sanity.

6. I'd rather stick hot needles in my eyes.
Or watch polka dancers on RFDTV. Or :puke: in the toilet. Or clean the cat box. Or eat tripe. Or assemble a Dubya statue made of ear wax.

9. I'm considering taping it and watching it this weekend
Make a drinking game out of it - one drink for each "freedom", two for "liberty" and three for "9-11" (or any derivative form of).

Can't have that kind of fun on a Wednesday.

10. No, No, Absolutely Not
Can't believe how CNN grasps this State Of The Union, wonder how much they were paid to promote the election in Iraq & now the State of The Union. What makes them think we will get the truth this time.

20. A friend of mine is playing a drinking game to it
She's going to take a shot every time Bush twitches or says "Freedom."

I told her not to - she'll kill herself.

Mainly because I've posted it twice before in other threads, but here's a quick synopsis of every speech * has ever made--or will make. No reason to waste time watching it on TV. :)
