Talk about leaving Iraq is a laugh |
|
didn't I read on DU the US is building something like 14 posts in Iraq and we have the state of the art embassy building? Just heard this on radio too. We are there forever.

1. Ah, you heard more than they said, like most people will |
|
They NEVER said they were going to leave Iraq. They just said they would reduce troops levels. They also failed to note how many troops they were planning on leaving there.
No doubt, they hope to send many of those troops into Iran. (ps. they never said they'd bring them home, either).

2. But I think there is a difference between being hunkered down in fortress |
|
and trying to enforce a civil peace in the cities and borders..
We are already moving to the former.
The US will be behind walls while Iraq burns.

|
since US presence in SA is causing the shieks so many headaches, we needed a new foothold in the region from which to extend our nefarious endeavors . . . that place is Iraq . . . we ain't leaving now, next year, or ever . . . we destroyed it, and it's ours, dammit! . . .
