Leibermann: a coherent Zell Miller
That was Ed Shultz's description of Jomentum just now, reacting to Joe's appearance on Fox this weekend.

Agree or no? Is that too harsh or right on the money?

1. Sounds about right
Holy Joe seems content with trying to be the Republicans favorite Democrat.

I guess he must think it will help him have broad appeal if he's ever a Presidential candidate.

But what doesn't understand is, why are wingnuts going to vote Repuke-lite when they can vote for the real deal.

2. They both suck
The fact that Leiberman isn't a raving lunatic complete fascist like Miller is of little consequence.

Neither man is a true democrat.

3. Right on the money.
I don't know why Joe doesn't relieve himself of his personal agony and formally switch to the other party.

4. Not harsh enough.

This jerk needs to be removed from the Democratic Party, if that is possible. He needs to come out of the GOP closet and switch parties and he should take some others with him. Freaking Republican Democrats, which is a large part of what the current Democratic Party has is a disgrace to everyone who as ever called themselves a Democrat. I despise them more than I do the GOP. These people are pigs and need to be rooted out and shown the door. I know people will cry and say we need all the Democrats we can get. That is just nonsense we already have a GOP they should go there.

Edit: Horrible Spelling and Grammar :)

11. I didn't watch Lieberman on Faux so perhaps I'm wrong.....
...but I think of Lieberman as a moderate and Zell Miller as mentally insane. I don't agree with many of Lieberman's positions, but I don't disagree with him enough to compare him to Zell "let's duel" Miller.

12. Does this bring into question Gore's judgement?
Why did he pick Joe? Whas it simply a symbolic rejection of Clinton? Was it further promotion of Tipper's culture crusade?

Ex-rival will visit to help Kerry get S. Florida vote
Sen. Joseph Lieberman comes to Palm Beach County to campaign on behalf of presumed Democratic nominee John Kerry.
Miami Herald

Lesley Clark

Joe Lieberman returns this week to Palm Beach County, home of the butterfly ballot that befuddled so many Democrats in 2000, to campaign for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.

His reunion tour on behalf of his former rival has Republicans suggesting that Democrats are seeking to stoke lingering anger over the contested 2000 presidential election -- a tactic Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie labeled ``angry, bitter and backward-looking.''

But Lieberman, who acknowledges his South Florida visit will evoke ''a very strong feeling of nostalgia,'' said his first appearance with his one-time opponent ``is all about today and tomorrow.''

''This is nothing about 2000,'' said the Connecticut senator, who will appear Monday with Kerry at a town hall meeting in Lake Worth. ``It's about the way in which, under the Bush administration, so many middle class families have been squeezed by higher healthcare bills, higher tuition, higher gas costs and a loss of jobs, and what John Kerry will do to make it better.
