An Open Plea to the People Who Are Strictly NBDs,NBCs,NBKs,NBEs, ect
I know that your vote is your own, and that it needs to be earned, but i think now (at the risk of sounding corny) is the time to be patriots.Did you NOT watch the SOTU last night? Did you not see what Bush plans to do to this country if given the opportunity of another 4 years? Now is the time to turn our country around onto the right path by voting for WHOEVER carries this parties banner be it Howard Dean or Wes Clark, be it John Kerry or Dennis Kucinich. The consequences of non-action are just TOO great this time around to become bitter and entrenched in apathy if Clark or Dean or Kerry doesn't get the nomination.

I'm a Clark/Edwards supporter but i will gladly vote for whoever get the nomination from my party. I have said this all along and now after watching the SOTU and seeing the path that our country could be headed down if we don't stand together, i mean it more then ever.

No pledges, no oaths,I just felt that if i didn't say something i was going to explode or break my monitor :)

1. Don't worry too much
Put the NBD's together with the NBC's, NBK's and all the NBx's, and you still don't have enough people for bridge game.

2. I know how you feel but
there is plenty of time for folks to let hurt feelings and negative emotions heal after a nominee is settled upon. I suspect that some of those 'nobody but' positions are heat of battle feelings. I wouldn't go worrying about it prematurely.

3. I understand that
and i may have jumped the gun but its just hard to listen to those kind of lines coming from a lot of different places and not feel that the ship could be in trouble if the holes aren't plugged.

Like i said though, it was a corny way to deal with my frustration. No one needs to take this thread as anything more then words.

4. I think a lot of people who say that
will come to their senses by November. It's just campaign rhetoric.

5. My answer
"Did you NOT watch the SOTU last night?"

No, I did not watch the SOTU. The sight of Bush makes me ill and the sound of his voice makes me puke.

I'm still NBD.

8. If Dean doesn't win
and you vote green because Dean didn't win, you'll hear four more years of Bush 2.0 SOTU. Is that what you really want? If so, then sign up for freerepublic.com and leave here.

You don't have to love the guy, just punch in the little hole by his name (and make sure you punch it all the way-no more hanging chads).

"Dean didn't win, you'll hear four more years of Bush 2.0 SOTU."

Nope, I'll do like I did last night and not watch television.

6. Don't worry, the people who are so stuck in the mud of their own making
were the least likely to be reliable anyways. Thier howls and schreeches are loud but their numbers are tiny. The vast majority of supporters of all of the candidates are intelligent, passionate and focused on one real common goal. Extracting that fraud from our White House.

10. I've often wondered
how widespread the sentiment is. Is it a DU phenomenon or is it farther reaching then that?

18. Personally
I haven't seen a "Nobody But Clark" post. Granted, I don't see every single one, but if it were a widespread phenomenon I think I would have noticed.

11. What sickened me almost as much as Junior himself....
...were Dems that openly applauded his lies. Hell, my neighbors probably were deciding whether they should call the cops when I yelled "Traitor" at Hillary Clinton for giving a standing ovation to some lie His Fraudulency told about Iraq and how he was "keeping America safe" :eyes:

Those who have repeatedly appeased this dictator are not fit to take his place, because they have shown no opposition to his sickening policies now, nor any reason to believe they would change them.

We know where Sharpton, Kucinich, and Dean stand in opposition to this ongoing travesty. Dean is the electable one of those three.

Then there's the deliberate attacks on Dean in the last month. You can't write it off as "typical primary competition" because nothing approaching this level of borderline slander Lee Atwater style bullshit was thrown at any other candidate.

Is preserving the status quo (and likely giving Junior another term) really that important to the DLC that they would sabotage the best candidate this party's had in 35 years?

I can't support the appeasers anymore. We deserve better than a bunch of pathetic sellouts.

14. At least it was different then years previous....
when they stood they did so half-heartedly. There were also boos and unplanned applause (ie on the patriot acts sunset). We're growing a pair, its just a gradual process.
