The Parlock-Rove Scale of Republican Dirty Tricks
Edited on Fri Feb-11-05 06:49 PM by dave29
I submit to you a Parlock-Rove scale of Republican Dirty Tricks.

We all know Karl Rove, known by George Bush as turdblossom, whose political acumen has paved the way for the most ridiculous caricature of a man to become President.

You may remember Phil Parlock, (#4 on the Top 10 Conservative Idiots a while back on DU... http://www.democraticunderground.com/top10/04/171.html) the idiot, who kept driving his family to Democratic events, and having his sons pose as Democratic disruptors attacking him and his daughter, making his daughter cry, and ensuring the media was there to cover it.

This scale goes from 1-10: 1 being just a remarkably stupid political stunt, to 10, a machiavellian type machination that Rove has mastered despite being a complete and total turdblossom.

So, putting this scale to it's intital test, where does Gannon/Guckert fall? While it's beginning to tilt (in my opinion) to the Rovian side of the scale, can we discount complete idiocy? Personally, I place Gannon at a 7.4, but am awaiting more details from the blogosphere.

Where do you place Gannon on the Parlock-Rove scale of Republican dirty-tricks?

1. Brilliant......
I'll reserve my vote on Gannon/Guckert until I learn more.

But why stop there. I propose that we list all the rethug dirty tricks, and schemes through the years, each one heading a new thread for related discussion. I'll start by appending a couple of oldies but goodies.

while trying to get Clements elected Governor of Texas, this takes attention away from the debate between Clements and White, and scores points for Clements.

Score 10 for Rove.
