Oh no - could be worse than Bush...
(from www.todaysthv.com)

Republican Governor Mike Huckabee says it's too early to say whether he will seek his party's nomination in the 2008 presidential election but he's not ruling that out.

Huckabee is attending the National Governors Association meeting in Washington and will become chairman of the group this summer. Asked about a presidential race, Huckabee said, "I think it would be foolish to make a categorical statement about something that's four years away."

Huckabee will leave the Arkansas governor's seat in 2007 because of term limits.

Huckabee said it "would take hundreds of thousands of people suggesting that" he enter the race for him to run for commander in chief.

2. Isn't Huckabee a Freeper?
If he hides his identity over there I bet some very juicy quotes could be discovered.

6. this Arkansan agrees
Huckster doesn't have much popularity in NW AR since he forced the little school districs to consolodate and lose their individual identities. He also instituted sales tax on many services which have made people mad (one service that is now taxed is pest control, and all I've heard since July 1 are gripes from clients about the added costs).

5. I hope he does run.
He'll be smushed in the primaries for daring to challenge Jeb Darling.
Then, he'll have to shut up.

7. Let him run....
first, it will get him and his ass ugly, big mouthed wife the hell out of state politics. Second, he'll get his ass kicked so hard in the primaries that the staples in his stomach will get knocked out and the next thing we'll know, he'll be back to 400 pounds of chalupas and quarter pounders.
