Does Anyone Know Where The Trail of $ From Iraq to Al-Queada Lies
This RW is trying to make it out like Iraq "directly masterminded" the whole deal. Of course that is a big lie, and now I just need a link to shut him up.

Would any of you know of a site?

Thanks in advance,
BamaLefty :hi:

2. I think the burden of proof is on him...
The RW has had a few years now to prove the connection, and haven't had any luck so far.

We could trace the 9/11 hijackers movements day to day, and their cash inflow from a Saudi princess, but can't track Iraq shuffling cash about? Come on.

Unless he can click his ruby slippers together and make it so.

3. The money trail from Al Queda leads directly to Pakistan
Here's a link from a Pakistani paper:
http://www.dawn.com/2001/10/09/top13.htm

NEW DELHI, Oct 8: Director General of Pakistan's Inter- Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Mahmud Ahmed has been replaced after the FBI investigators established credible links between him and Umar Sheikh, one of the three militants released in exchange for passengers of the hijacked Indian Airlines plane in 1999.

(snip)

Informed sources said there were enough indications with the US intelligence agencies that it was at Gen Mahmud's instruction that Sheikh had transferred 100,000 US dollars into the account of Mohammed Atta, one of the lead terrorists in strikes at the World Trade Centre on Sept 11, it adds.

4. It's almost impossible to show...
... that something hasn't happened--at least not without bin Laden's books. :)

But, I think the most comprehensive list of links concerning 9/11 and terrorism is:

Cheers.

7. Iraq sells oil to Texas Oilmen at a cheap price.
US government decides to support all strongmen and non-democratic Oil Producing nations because they get a better deal. Money goes to a few elite at the top instead of the masses at the bottom as it would not if there was an actualy representative democracy in place. People at the top in Oil Producing nation have too much money and start to build things in big numbers using the same contractors (their buddies) again and again because as it is an oligarchy, people do not bid on contracts. Bin Laden inherits money from daddy. He sees USA bait Russia in Afghanistan. He decides to do the same to the USA.
