Congress is discussing important business this morning...
They are paying tributes to women and Scottish Americans. God bless them all, but is there more important stuff on the agenda??? They sound like they are completely out of touch with reality.

1. CSPAN? I'm listening to Sen. Patty Murray discussing
how bad an idea SS reform is, particularly to women. CSPAN2.

2. I read somewhere that Scottish Americans are the wealthiest
"ethnic" group in the US, which surprised me.

5. One good thing about being able to watch Congress
is that you can watch, in real time, whatever it is democracy may be, die a slow death. You don't see the backroom deals, or the boardrooms where legislation is written, but you can see the end product as it happens. Never in the history of the world have the consumers of a society been able to do that.

Now, if only we could get Trump and GE to televise this reality show, maybe people would watch.

Wait, why would CEO's and Media/Defense/Multi-national corporations show that in primetime? Nevermind.
