Here's what we need, people. |
|
We need the Democrat version of Rove, but we need one who will make Rove look like a rank amateur. I don't care if it's distasteful or not, it's time to "shoot now and clean up the mess later". If we don't do some serious, hard core damage to the Radical Right by 2006, all will be lost for a long, long time. The only Republicans who can be allowed to be left standing are those who prove their worthiness by not marching lock-step with the Bushites. A major feat that must be accomplished is PROVING to the christian right that they were used in order to keep Bush in office. They MUST be made to feel like fools for doing what they've done. They have put a dangerous group of people into power, and they need to be shown this. I know this all sounds very harsh, but we have to have the guts to save America. If one doesn't have this courage, they need to get out of the way of those who do, and stop with the nice-nice.

Hell, I need a new job. I get very frustrated with the interpretations of what "went wrong". It was not the message that appealed to people ... it was the delivery. Concise, black & white, righteous and completely devoid of ethics.

Where do we find one? I keep praying someone will emerge ... All we need is someone able to speak eloquently for social, economic and environmental justice ...

8. We are in fact in search of a great leader |

and I agree with that. And I do think that the argument must be made to attempt to bring truth to the Christian right, but I feel that most of that energy would be sucked up with little effect. If I were going to engage a demographic group I'd think about the non-voter. These are our natural allies. They also equal everyone else combined. In fact they by themselves could almost pick the next President. They hold the key to the White House and don't know it, yet.
