CNN: Delay secretly taped: "god sent Terri to help conservatives..."

Delay was secretly taped by a liberal group. I believe the speech was last Friday at an "off the record" partisan meeting.

Holy Cow! CNN just said that delay said he'd fire the person who wrote the talking points memo (if he knew who they were) because of the linking of the Schiavo case to political manuvering.

Will he fire himself?

I saw this live report on CNN just about 10 minutes ago. There was a male reporter (who was not in the studio) discussing the tape. Delay was speaking to a conservative group. Someone taped the whole speech. I couldn't believe CNN was actually reporting this! They played parts of the tape. Delay was directly linking the Schiavo case to the conservative movement and the desire to use the case to advance the political fortunes of the republicans.
