Senator John Cornyn should be recalled by the voters

of Texas. Justifying violence against federal judges is tantamount to endorsing it. The man is not fit to serve in the Senate. C'mon you Texas DUers. Get those petitions circulating. Cornyn is a damned disgrace.

He's qualified his language to such an extent that it's not clear that he thinks violence against the judges is justified.

Here's what he's quoted as saying just before that:

"It causes a lot of people, including me, great distress to see judges use the authority that they have been given to make raw political or ideological decisions," he said. Sometimes, he said, "the Supreme Court has taken on this role as a policymaker rather than an enforcer of political decisions made by elected representatives of the people."

So, Sen. Cornyn, what would be a reasonable response to, say, a Supreme Court decision that took away the rights of the people to have their votes counted, and installed the loser of an election as the winner of that election???
