Viet Nam War Protestor Hit By Train In Okaland CA - 1960's
During the VietNam war a protestor tried to block a train (I think at the old Oakland CA Army Depot). In the past the trains had stopped, and the cops dragged the protestors off of the tracks. But this time the cops waved the train on - and the protestor was hit by the locomotive.

I remember it from the 6PM news - back in the late 1960's. But can't find it on Google.

Does anyone have any information on this.

5. I was alive when it happened....
Concord Naval Weapons Depot....

The facility depicted in the movie "The Rock" where they stole the VX gas.

Anyway I believe that it was at that facility where the guy got ran over.

It occured at the Concord Naval Weapons Station

My very good friend's dad was the engineer of the train

He was lied to by the Navy that day , and that is all
I have to say about it
