Do we just take the part that says "full faith and credit of the United States" out of the Constitution? Or do we have a Convention and write a new Constitution? And who would write the new Constitution? I will volunteer to assist. I would love to sign my "John Hancock" in big bold letters on a Constitution that would prevent such debacles from ever happening again.

One of the first articles would be to prohibit the influence of Big Business and corporations in the affairs of government. The next Constitution would be much more egalitarian than the first. There would also be a guarantee to healthcare and it would be impossible for a moronic leader to run up deficits like we now have. Equality for all would be a given.

then there are some positives, such as your mortgage and debts also collapse with the system...but then, of course...u still starve...so, probably not too many volunteers to rewrite the constitution...all will be too busy eating wild grasses and pine trees, etc and trying to just survive another day.
