After the stupid, rude, leading, misleading, asinine questions last night
I think we need a list of questions for bush. At least ours can be honest and relevant.
1) With you total disregard of the environment in your first term how can anyone believe you would do anything to protect environment interest if (re)elected?
2) With the record deficits in the last four years can you honestly call yourself a fiscal conservative?
3) When you are unable to pronounce even simple words how can the American people believe that you have the intelligence to be the leader of the free world.
Add your own and we can send them to FAUX, "fair & balanced". :7
I crack myself up

4. Was that a debate?
It seemed to be more of an inquisition, with a little bit of stalinist show trial thrown in.
Some (make that all) of the moderators seemed to think that their speeches couched as questions were more important than anything the candidtaes had to say.

3. What are you joking?
Well actually I can tell that you are. But odds are their will be exactly one debate and it will be a similar farce. The Bush Camp has to be hoping for no debates at all, and that's what they'll push for. They'll get stuck with one debate, but since they are holding all the cares it will be a format they choose.

"I'd like to announce our panal of fair and impartial judges for tonights Presidential Debate. From the left we have Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Robert Novak and Alan Colmes. As you can see we've bound and gagged Mr. Colmes for his own safety, but he is here to represent the insane . . . I mean the liberal point of view. And coming to the podium first is the Democrat Candidate. He's so unmemorable I can't even remember his name. He's trying to appear to be a normal human being, when, as reported on Newsmax last week, he's actually an evil soulless replicant. And now here is the greatest man of the 20th century and the 21st century, Emperor, I mean President Bush."

6. Why did the Dems let FAUX NEWS host a debate??
I think we as a party may have lost our mind. When I heard that the Ministry of Propaganda was going to do the only New Hampshire debate, I said "WTF???" After watching the debate, my suspicions were confirmed.

As to Dumbya debating this fall, I think he'll HAVE TO. Remember 1992, when Old Man Bush did everything he could NOT to debate Bill Clinton? It made him look weak and dropped him in the polls even farther. Rove is far shrewder than Old Man Bush's crowd, so he won't let Dumbya make that mistake. Of course, I can see the debates at odd times and days, but there will be more than one.

8. in all honest and imho the previous fox debate was the best
of the series. the format was much better iirc. i was very disappointed because i thought this one would be run in a similar manner. since this was a joint fox abc event, i am ready to lay some of the responsibility on abc and a LOT of the time wasting on the two locals who asked multi paragraph questions. the worst though, was jennings.

11. One of the Democratic candidates, a four-star general war hero
has refused to knock down the allegation of one of his endorsers that you evaded the draft by joining the National Guard and then went AWOL, failing to fulfill your commitment. Could his his reluctance to disown this accusation mean that there's something to it? Or could it be that he isn't familiar enough with the facts to speak on it? You, sir, ARE familiar with all of the facts. How do YOU respond to the allegation that you shirked your military service?

12. the constant bell ringing and all the coughing made it the most annoying..
"debate" ever. Who was the idiot with the bell? Must of been the same guy with the nervous twitch. Sometimes it would go off well after a minute, other times, it went off after only 30 seconds. Sometimes it would ring once. Other times it would ring 2 or 3 times. Annoying as hell.

Then the coughing. Everytime someone said something critical of Bush, someone else coughed into the damn microphone. I shouldn't have to endure that much phlem and congestion just to hear a debate.

This debate would have been more professional if it were moderated by teenagers at a highschool auditorium.

And I thought no one could beat the horrible debate moderated by Judy Woodruff. Damn I was wrong.

15. LOL I like those questions.
Dubya would crack if he were asked those questions in a debate and in front of millions of people. Maybe then people would realize how much of a worthless asshole he really is.

about having repukes like Hume, et al. moderate these debates and ask gotcha-type questions is that it really hones the skills of our candidates; by the time they are through with all these, I think they will be prepared for anything.

17. Stupid questions at the debate. I mean, really.
Were the questioners all Bush supporters or just stupid? I know the post-debate commentators on FAUX are really, like, fair and balanced (not).
