I'm curious because of that old adage that the taller candidate wins (I mean in presidential elections). He is taller than Bush, right? :)

I think. He's a tall one. Bush would have to stand on a couple phone booths.

he's taller than Bush. I don't believe Bush is 5'11". He's shorter than that. Like everything else about him - the height claim is phony.

9. Kerry is 6'4 and has tall hair. While Bush is around 5'10. |
|
It's widely known that Bush actually wore padded/platform shoes during the Gore debates. All the Kiss platform boots in the world won't save Bush from looking like a nitwit standing next to Kerry.

The Pretzel-Dunce is 5' 11', my foot (if you'll pardon the expression). He looks more like a shade under 5-10 to me. But you'd never know it to look at his official photos--somehow, he always manages to be among the tallest person in them.

14. Well, that adage is not always true. |
|
Carter was shorter than Ford, but I think that's the only real exception. Bush was shorter than Gore, but of course, Bush sat on his brother's shoulders.

Don't rule out the short people! I'm somewhere between 5'6'' and 5'7'' and I'm pretty tired of the tall people pretending like they can win based on looks and stature. Just remember, Stalin was 5'4'' and Goebbels was 5'0'' (man, now there's someone who's ass I really could have kicked). See, small people can wield great power (not that I'd actually want to be like those guys... anyone know how tall Churchill was?). I know what you're thinking, but no, Napoleon was actually 5'7'', above average height for his day. The 5'2'' thing is an error.
But hey, I've grown more than an inch in the last year, so perhaps I can still make it to 5'8'' by the time I'm 18 or 19.

31. Lincoln may have had Marfan's syndrome |

...although there are a lot of very similar, but less severe conditions. I know because I supposedly have "Marfanoid habitus mitral valve prolapse", which is one of those less severe conditions.
BTW I'm 6'3", but when my older brother is nearby I stretch almost another half inch. He admitted not too long ago that he is really only 6'2"; he cheated the last time we were measured. Not that height is important, or anything.
