Dean, Clark, Edwards, Kerry & Kucinich = the FAB FIVE...
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 08:43 PM by henslee
Each of their stock has gone up considerably as America is getting to know each of them personally, some more than others of course. My own admiration for each of them has grown and I can only imagine others feel the same way. Long after the nomination is decided, their new status will stick around and resonate in American politics. I cannot think of any Republicans who are their counterparts -- who have articulated an American vision of ideas and possibilites. Sure, not everyone watches CSPAN 2 but the word gets out and each of the Fab Five has produced truly wonderful moments and soundbites, stumping and sharing theiir ideas. Yeah, I konw Pres. Pretzel scar is running virtually unopposed and therefore no repubs have a reason to stump but even if called to do so I cannot imagine who among them could step up and produced similarly. The media is the only agent of their hollow vision and it is a vision totally steeped in fear, lie upon lie and false patriotism. It is a message that is unconvincing, that feels old and becomes more transparent every day.

I predict this will be a great political for Democrats and for the whole country. It already is.

7. Please
don't be mean. He's sure to be out of it completely before super Tuesday.

Let sleeping dogs lie and remember him for risking his life for civil rights in the 1960's.

What do you say, fellow Clark supporter?

2. A pleasent change from the secretive schemers who like doing
their business away from the kleig lights.

Regardless of the ultimate winner, all of our candidates reflect the value values of leadership, responsibility, and public service. The image contrast between parties should be apparent to even the most casual observer of politics in this country. This campaign can do nothing but help the eventual nominee.

4. Edwards
John Edwards is my personal choice of a candidate, and while some people may not think he is the most qualified. I find myself looking at the other candidates, thinking that these othere democratic candidates are promising changes that they haven't made in the decades they have been a part of the political system. John Edwards is a new, fresh face in politics who can get things done. To learn more about him and his views follow the link provided below. Thank You

9. Yes bu in Kucinich's case-
It's definitely not for lack of trying. Edwards hasn't put up as much of a fight in Congress as Kucinich has from my vantage point, no offense to you intended and I really don't have much against Edwards.

Then again, I'm not one of those who thinks the IWR vote is the end of the universe for a candidate.

Welcome to DU, by the way.

8. Listening to any of these guys talk,
one has to wonder how we could possibly have gotten stuck with the Retard From Hell in the White House. These men can all pronounce words, form coherent sentences, etc....
