Why are we so concerned with Karl Rove?

First, people were saying Rove wanted to run against Dean, now they say he wants to run against Kerry. So, which one is it? Why can't we just let the campaign run its course? (Yes, I know Rove is Machiavellian, but I don't think he's controlling our primary process.)

I've been accused of being rude and someday soon I'm sure my ticket to DU will expire in a moderator fit of Bushiness.

Karl Rove is taking them down one at a time. The easiest way to take someone down is to first push them unrealistically high.

Kerry now has a long way to fall and the acceleration will be interesting.
