1. Bush goes up?
The other day it was "un-named Democrat 45%, Bush 43%."

Sounds like confidence is shaken.

2. Some more numbers.........
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 10:17 PM by Merusault
The "un-named Democrat" always does better than a named one.

Here's the rest:

Bush = 51
Edwards = 39

Bush = 54
Dean = 34

Bush = 51
Clark = 37

16. That was another poll
The last Fox poll that asked that question had Bush with a 7-point margin, so Bush lost 3 points.

Kerry hasn't even been nominated yet.

9. I seem to remember that the conventional wisdom
is that any incumbent politician with numbers under 50% is in trouble.

13. I think the common wisdom is that if an incumbent's approval rating
I think the common wisdom is that if an incumbent's approval rating is below 50%, he'll probably lose, but Bush's approval rating is at 54%.

17. A chart of Bush's approval ratings resembles Cheney's heart monitor.
Up then down, flatline, up then down, flatline...

15. Look at it this way: Everybody knows an unnamed Democrat.
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 10:29 PM by elperromagico
Not everybody knows John Kerry. They will, though. Hopefully, they'll like him.
