Where are the Dems?
Why do they vote for more war, Real ID, Negroponte, etc..?

Why don't they get behind Conyers and the Downing street memo by calling a news conference?

Where is the fire and creativity to get heard on the corporate msm?

Where is Dean?

1. John Kerry Already Answered Your Question
when he said during his "campaign" for President: "The Democratic Party is not an opposition party".

The United States isn't like democratic nations that have a multi-party political systems and opposition parties. We have bi-partisanship. That's something that is unheard of and a term that is never used in democratic nations.

This is the perfect political system for the rich and big business interests.

6. It's funny, but
but it sure seemed like we had an opposition party when Clinton was in office. Somehow the repukes found a way. And we could too. It might take a little creativity and thinking outside the box and EFFORT, but obviously, it can be done.

15. please supply a link for that quote
You've used it several times here at DU and at other websites - you need to provide a link for it and the context it was said in.

11. I posted on Dean last night and got blasted
Edited on Fri May-13-05 08:36 AM by The Political Eye
I want a forceful spokesperson besides Harry Reid.

The issue of the filibusters, and Social Security are issues worth fighting for.

I thought to google Dean and and sort the news results by date. No recent major stories about him on these major issues. It is almost as if he has disappeared?

Maybe it's a grand plan. I sure hope so.

4. You elected the wrong guy for that
Dean has always been a centrist.

Actually, what I hope of Dean is not that. It is that he will create an organized grassroot movement at the local level. This is what was really needed during this election, according to all the people who should know (Dean, Parisher, ...).

8. He ripped Frist a new one, using his own words against him.
Frist was so shaken that he had to have his interns making mad dashes to the phones to appease the Heritage Foundation types.

If that isn't guts, you'll never be satisfied.
